Fourier analysis has the ability to extract the predominant cycle(s) from a series of data (e.g., an indicator or a security's price).

The "Interpreted" Fourier indicator displays the most predominant three cycles found. These three values are displayed as an indicator: the value of the indicator represents the cycle length, and the length of the indicator line represents the relative strength of the cycle (i.e., the longer the indicator remains at a value, the more significant the cycle is).
